Tridanth’s Butterfly

with one comment

Tridant was restless. He couldn’t stop bouncing back and forth in his jiggledy way.

” I gave you so many pictures”, he said “but you didn’t finish my story! 4 days! that’s almost a week!”

“I’m sorry dear” I said, “I was reading about a very great ancient maths teacher”.

“Was he on a quest? What was his name?” Tridantha asked.

“His name was Aryabhatta. He wrote a textbook on mathematics thousands of years ago. He was a genius!” I said.

“Maybe he was a great-great-great……great-grandfather of our Maths Teacher!” Traydantha offered. “I found a beautiful picture for you today”

He said, “I saved it! and I was kind to it! I deserve the rest of the story!”

“All right, my three toothed round friend.. I shall continue your story today”. I said.

Tridanth giggled happily and suddenly for a brief fleeting second he looked like Ekadantha himself to me.

So bowing to Ekadantha in my mind, I started thinking about.. “The Dragon and his boy”

Ganesa is called Ekadanta because he has only one tooth or tusk. I drew this picture. Tridant makes me want to draw.
